Dell Comics published a comic about the characters in 1967, and thirty years later there was a single issue Marvel Comic. Spotlight Comics also released a comic based on the team,  which came out in the early 1980s.

Thanks to Gernot Armbruster for providing details of the team's civilian professions, and Ritchie Nihei for correcting me as to their later occupations.

Thanks to "Red" who mentions that the Marvel Comics issue gave secret identities for most of the team (listed below in the individual entries) and adds "Also the comic introduced a female character called Water Woman."

Thanks also to Matt Spaulding, who sent in some additional details, and noted a similarity between this team and D.C.'s Justice League of America:

  • Strong Man = Superman

  • Diaper Man = The Atom

  • Rope Man = Elongated Man

  • Cuckoo Man = Hawkman
