History: "I fly like a jet, I fight like a cat, hence the name!" Melanie Ilk is an eight year old girl who is secretly the superhero Jetcat.

Jetcat began in the newspaper strip Oddville, which was later published in collected format by Art Ick and subsequently Oni Press. There were also four short cartoons made in 1999 and 2000 for Nickolodeon's KABLAM! which starred Jetcat.
