Summary: Kidnapped by aliens from his home on the Yorkshire moors when he was five, the boy who would become Danger Man was taken to Mars. Many years later he was returned to Earth, charged with fostering interplanetary good will by helping anyone in danger, working out of an artificial island the Martians constructed in the South Atlantic. In time he rescued two children, Jet and Jane Hardwick, from a sinking yacht, the Bluebell; upon learning that both their parents had perished on the Bluebell, Danger Man adopted them as his sidekicks, the Danger Minors. When the Martians recalled Danger Man to Mars for an important conference he set up the Minors, now calling themselves the Danger Twins, in an orbiting Martian satellite base.

Danger Man was replaced in the Beano by the Danger Twins, a pair of orphans he adopted and trained as his sidekicks.
