History:
After reading about Spider-Man's exploits in the Daily Gossip newspaper,
Walter Pratt concluded that "Any fool can be a superhero! Even me!" Though
his hastily thrown together costume got him ridiculed in the street, Captain
Wally persevered, even being so bold as to try and tell a rampaging Hulk
to "clear off or face the consequences." Unfortunately for Wally, the Hulk
wasn't impressed, and beat him up.
Comments: Created by Lew Stringer. Captain Wally's strip ended with Spidey Comic #653, after twenty installments (including #650's team-up with Snail-Man, where they shared a strip).
