Powers/Abilities: The Sludge can "possess" any machinery it makes contact with, giving them a hostile independent form of life.

History: The Sludge was a strange, jelly-like life form which emerged from the sea. Malignant, it took control of any machinery it came into contact with, turning it against humanity. Time and again it appeared to be defeated and destroyed, only to return. During its last known attack it was opposed by Robot Archie.
