Powers/Abilities: Atom Ant can detect distress calls on his antennae, has superstrength and can fly. His powers are apparently derived from atomic energy - as the theme states "That tiny ant and his atomic powers has what it takes and always makes the vilest villain cower."

History: Atom Ant is, as his name suggests, a superpowered ant. His powers are apparently atomic in nature, but exactly how he came by them is never made clear. In spite of being an insect he is one of the most dedicated and true heroes around.

There were 26 episodes of Atom Ant, over two seasons (twenty episodes and six episodes respectively). Gold Key published a comic in 1966, but only produced one issue.
