Zenescope Entertainment

Zenescope Entertainment was founded in 2005 by Joe Brusha and Ralph Tedesco, with their first title, Grimm Fairy Tales, being an updated, mild horror and tittilating version of various folk tales, including (but not limited to) the Brother Grimm stories that inspired the name. Unsurprisingly they followed the success of this first series with more in the same vein - Return to Wonderland, Escape from Wonderland, Beyond Wonderland, Tales from Wonderland, Neverland, The Piper (a horror take on the Pied Piper story), 1001 Arabian Nights - as well as movie tie-in titles (Se7en, Final Destination, Herbert West: Re-Animator), and various original science-fiction or horror mini-series, such as Willow Creek, Agon, Jindai, Merc, Stingers, Straw Men, Salem's Daughter and The Waking. Of interest for this site, however, is the Living Corpse, the closest Zenescope has had to a superhero.
