Real Name: Richard Dauntless
Identity/Class: Human transformed by magic
Occupation: School boy
Affiliations: Marvelman, Kid Marvelman
Enemies: Gargunza, Young Nastyman
Known Relatives: None known
Base of Operations: U.K.
First Appearance: Marvelman
Powers/Abilities: Incredible strength (able to lift hundreds of tons), superhuman speed and able to fly at around Mach 3. Invulnerable and able to survive in space without ill effect. Exceptionally intelligent beyond the human norm. Able to cause thunderclaps by clapping his hands.
History: Much like his friend and partner, Young Marvelman was given a magic word that allowed him to transform from a young boy into a superpowered being. In his case the magic word was "Marvelman".
Comments: "Roy" has written in to say "One of his enemies was "Young Nastyman" who wore a similar costume which was black (naturally). Unlike our hero, as I remember, Young Nastyman's powers were temporary though I can't recall what his weakness was - but there was something Young Marvelman could trick him into doing which stripped him of his powers - until the next time, that is."
Young Marvelman (now named Young Miracleman) would eventually be revived long after his partners, during the "Silver Age" run of the Eclipse Miracleman comic.
