Powers/Abilities: Superhuman strength

History: (U.S.A. Comics #1, ga) Directed to the scenes of crimes by a mysterious shadow, the teenaged Young Avenger uses his superhuman strength to bring the villains to justice.

(All-Winners Squad: Band of Heroes) After enlisting, Young Avenger was placed in a squad alongside several other costumed heroes, most of whom died before the War's end.

Comments: With only one  Golden Age appearance, no explanation was given as to the source of the Young Avenger's superpowers, nor who the shadow was that gave him his missions.
