Powers/Abilities: Able to fly, superhumanly strong, superfast, enhanced senses, invulnerable. He does NOT have x-ray vision, although some people have presumed he has. Able to shapeshift slightly in order to modify his appearance.
History:
Comments: Charles Daniels points out that "Victor and Sentry were almost carbon copies of Superman and Batman. Victor caught the bullets shot at him (he thought the writers of those comic books didn't take into account bullets would ricochet and hit other people around him)" In the character's defense, I think I should point out that while Victor bears a strong resemblance to the Superman archetype, it's no closer than the ones that Captain Marvel, Marvelman, Archetype, Samaritan, and so on, have too. All are distinct characters in their own right who allow their writers to use this similarity on the surface to contrast and compare these incredibly powerful beings, and how they might interact with the world.
