History: The Apostate was the son of the superhero the Golden Guardsman. Never good enough for his demanding father, he grew up bitter and twisted. After his father died, he became the murderous supervillain Apostate, teaming up with Sepulchre to battle his father's old ally Victor and the newly formed Hero Alliance. Fuller profile to follow.
