History: (Captain America Comics #1-5, ga) Tuk was the child of a pair of "hairless ones" abandoned by their own kind on the shores of a distant land. His father died soon after this, skewered on the horn of a wooly rhino, but the mother and child survived thanks this attack thanks to being rescued by Ak, "last of the shaggy ones". Ak continued to look after them both, and when Tuk's mother was gored to death by Gru, the lion, Ak raised the young boy himself. When Tuk was about ten, Ak told him of his heritage, and the young lad set off to explore his world, making friends with Tanir the Cro-Magnon and aiding the Princess Eve in regaining the throne of Atlantis.
