History: When his explorer father died helping one African tribe in a battle with another tribe, the boy who would become known as Trojak was adopted by the explorer's greatful allies. Upon reaching adulthood he became a wanderer, travelling around Africa and coming into conflict with villains of every stripe. He was accompanied by his friends, Balu the Tiger and Sator the Falcon.

Comments: There seems to have been some confusion as to whether Trojak operated in Africa or India - the presence of Balu the Tiger would suggest the latter, but apparently other factors suggested Africa. However Marvel's Golden Age Handbook confirms that Trojak was indeed based in Africa.
