Powers/Abilities: Wristwatch transforms him, giving him superstrength and agility, and the ability to fly.

History: Mick Riley is considered a joke on the force, a "shrimp" who is taken off the beat. But then the dying Professor Markham gives him a special wristwatch containing "thermo-clyodine-phostium." The watch can trigger a current through this into the wearer, granting him a variety of powers, and with these abilities Mick Riley becomes the costumed Thunderbolt.

Comments: Rebellion bought the rights to Thunderbolt, along with hundreds of other Fleetway characters, in 2016, and a new, female Thunderbolt the Avenger subsequently appeared in the Scream and Misty Special 2017. Her connection to Mick is, as yet, unrevealed (daughter, granddaughter, or just someone who has inherited the watch?). She's due to return again in August 2018's The Vigilant, as part of a new Rebellionverse superhero team.
