Comments: A joint English-Dutch venture subtitled “The World of Adventure – In Living Colour,” Tell Me Why sold itself as an educational comic, the kind of title parents would buy in the hopes their children would learn things. Aimed at a slightly younger audience than its similar sibling Look and Learn, it included a mixture of strips based on classic novels (including Last of the Mohicans, 20000 Leagues Under the Sea, and War of the Worlds), alongside historical (the life story of Van Gogh) and geographical features (a trip to Venice), all illustrated by exceptional artists. However, the lack of any ongoing series combined with a higher than average price (to pay higher production values, including all pages being full colour) meant it couldn't maintain interest against more exciting competitors, and sales dropped too low for it to continue. After being cancelled, Tell Me Why was incorporated into new educational title World of Wonder.
