History: Mild mannered Waffles the news-bunny possessed a magic ring which, when rubbed, could transform him into the heroic Super-Rabbit.
Comments: After appearing in several of Timely's wartime comedy comics, Super Rabbit finally got his own title in Fall 1943. It lasted fourteen issues before folding in November 1948. He continued to make sporadic guest appearances until 1952. He was briefly reprinted in the 1972 title "L'il Pals".
