Powers/Abilities: Spartan's original body possessed superhuman strength, was immune to mental attacks and telepathic scans, could become invisible to both mechanical devices and living things, and could generate biomolecular blasts of energy and energy shields (though not both simultaneously). His body had self-healing routines, but if too badly damaged, he could download himself into a brand new form.
His upgraded, "Platinum Edition", body also had an enhanced sense of smell and could analyse radio wavelengths. Since inheriting Void's powers he can now teleport himself and others.
History: Spartan is a robot built using Gammoran technology by Lord Emp, basing his creation's personality on his dead friend, Lord Yohn Kohl. Both men were Kherubim Lords who had been stranded on Earth, along with many of their race and their deadly enemies the Daemonites as well, thousands of years before. Kohl had been a warrior, assuming the human identity of John Colt from the 1930s and leading a special ops unit known as Team One. Seeking a suitable template for his robot's personality, Emp saw Kohl as the obvious candidate.
Hadrian 7, also known as Spartan, after the robotic bodyguards used by the nobles of Emp's homeworld, led Emp's newly assembled Daemonite fighting team, the WildC.A.T.S. His time in command was eventful - at one point his body was destroyed, but luckily he had made a record of his personality and experiences, allowing him to be reborn in an upgraded form. Another time Yohn Kohl's personality took over his body completely, only for Grifter to active a second Spartan unit with the Hadrian 7 persona in charge, causing some confusion as two identical heroes, with similar but slightly different personalities, working with the team.
Most recently he formed a new generation of the WildC.A.T.S., "Version 3.0". Emp had ascended to a higher state of being, leaving his company, the Halo Corporation, to Hadrian, or Jack Marlowe as he now called himself. Void, another of the original team, died, but not before she passed on her powers to Spartan. With new powers and new responsibilities, Spartan continues the fight.
