Powers/Abilities: Super speed, flight, invulnerability, superhuman strength. The last power was a late addition, gained through a second exposure to photon beams over a year after he was originally mutated. For a while Andrew had to use spray paint cans to propel him along while flying.

History: Teenager Andrew Clements accidentally gained superhuman powers after his neighbour, Dr.Benjamin Jeffcoate (a.k.a. Dr. J), unintentionally exposed him to a "photon beam" while conducting an experiment. A comics fan, he decides to become the superhero Ultraman, sharing his secret identity only with Dr. J.

Comments: Played by Jerry O'Connell. Dr.Jeffocoate was played by Derek McGrath.

Produced by Sunrise Films, Ltd, the Canadian-made show ran three seasons, to a total of seventy-two half-hour long episodes.
