They guard the timestream from villainous interceptors like the reality warping Salvador and Edgar Martindon, a time-hopping serial killer believed to have started the Jack the Ripper story. "Montgomery is a strict by the book Temporal Instabilities Council (T.I.C) agent and is joined by his newbie partner, Trunk Redwood, who literally used to be a tree until a freak supernatural incident evolved him into human form."
