Powers/Abilities: His costume endowed him with extraordinary strength and other exceptional powers including the ability to fire atomic energy beams from a battery on his belt and to fly. His costume also grants him invulnerabilty.

History: John Smith invented a special rubber suit (blue jumpsuit, later changed to red) that was powered by atomic energy. The suit would occasionally malfunction.

The "World Encyclopedia of Comics" identifies Misterix as Italy's second masked hero after Asso de Picche.
