History: The Mask was the leader of a gang of crooks in London. His criminal activities were wrongly blamed on the new hero Ironmaster, who hunted him down in order to clear his name.
Comments: Another villain called the Mask - well, I guess in a world of costumed heroes and villains, the simplest disguise is wearing a plain mask or hood over your face, and if every would be crimelord calls himself "The Mask" it'll confuse the police no end.
