Powers/Abilities: Lancer is superhumanly strong. He is capable of bending the guns on a tank with his bare hands. He is also highly resistant to injury.

History: Lancer is a superhero of uncertain origins - mainly because he keeps telling wildly differing versions, none of which seem very likely. He is a bold and bombastic hero, very sure of himself and his own press, though to be fair, he's thus far lived up to it. When he faced the Commander, a foe who had fought the DNAgents Tank to a virtual standstill, he knocked him out with one punch.

He first encountered the DNAgents when he met Surge during that worthy's hunt for escaped assassin Luger. Although he had been hired to capture the rogue DNAgents, the two became friends, and it was Lancer who retrieved the evidence (during the aforementioned encounter with the Commander) which cleared Surge of murder charges.
