Comments: Created by Dudley Watkins.

After a lengthy run in the Beano, Jack vanished from comics for a time, but returned for new adventures in Nutty in 1980. His original outfit is the one with a large lightning symbol running across his entire chest, while his Nutty one has the smaller motif. He retained his Nutty costume he reappeared for cameos in Beano anniversary issues.

Jack Flash was reworked as Jackie Flash, a female version, for girls' comic Mandy. In spite of the similar name and powers the two characters are quite distinct from one another.

Jack, his father (unconscious) and his twin siblings Jet and Jane (no idea which is which)

Ma Flash - yes, it's a tiny image and its a picture of her back, but it's also the only image I could find of her.

The forties version of this character was illustrated by Dudley Watkins. Thanks to Jim Croasdale for additional information on the artist for this character.
