Powers/Abilities: Superhuman strength, likely superhuman durability. It's unrevealed whether he was permanently transformed, or whether he had to drink the formula every time he wanted to become Mega-Man.

Summary: After imbibing an experimental formula, mild-mannered Lewis Stringer became the muscular hero Mega-Man.

History: Lewis Stringer was a skinny youth who volunteered to take part in an experiment for a scientist working at the Bakelite Biochemical Research Institute. Seeking to create a superhero, the scientist had developed a formula, Roxolid-3, which Stringer drank, transforming him into the muscular Mega-Man.

   At some point during his career he battled the Black Druid, dodging the lightning the mage summoned and smashing a small crystal orb the villain was using to focus his powers; Mega-Man then hauled his defeated foe away, presumably to hand over to the authorities.

   I'm guessing that Collins' choice of Mega-Man's civilian identity was a nod to fellow comic artist Lew Stringer.

   Mega-Man only appeared in two small strips, his five panel origin in the introduction section of the Players Book, and a four panel battle against Black Druid in the combat section of the Supervisors Book.
