Powers/Abilities: Gambit is highly skilled in both armed and unarmed combat. A trained paratrooper, what he lacks in finesse he tends to make up in brute force.
History: Mike Gambit had been a Major in the Paras, then briefly turned his hand to racing car driving, before settling in to the life of a secret agent. He was partnered with veteran agent John Steed and the beautiful but deadly Purdey, and together the trio of "Avengers" took on some of the most bizarre threats to the U.K. and the world ever faced by any operative, from killer cyborgs to giant rats, from mind controlled birds to villainous doppelgangers.
