History: Playboy Delton Prouse decided, for undisclosed reasons, to use the skills he had picked up during the Great War and subsequently as an explorer and big-game hunter, to right injustices by stealing from those who had profited unfairly from others, then giving the money to those who more readily deserved it. Disguised as the Crimson Clown, he went on a "Robin Hood" crime spree, pursued by police detective Donler.
