Powers/Abilities: Able to transform into Sailor Chibi-Moon at will by saying "Moon Prism Power, Make Up". Later changes this phrase to "Moon Crisis, Make Up", which transforms her into the more powerful Super-Sailor Chibi-Moon.

Possesses a "moon rod" which can fire heart-shaped fireworks (usually used to distract enemies rather than actually injure them) - her "Pink Sugar Heart Attack." She can also summon Pegasus with her "Twinkle Yell".

She has a special item called the Luna-p, a magic ball that can perform all kinds of magic (Luna-P magic) and change into items (Luna-P change).

History: The daughter of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion, future Princess Serenity/Usagi Tsukino was born in Crystal Tokyo in the 30th century. When her home was attacked by the Dark Moon Kingdom, Prince Diamonde cast a sleeping spell over Tokyo. Usagi was sent to the past to get the silver crystal so that she could wake up her mother. She appeared in mid-air, and literally landed on Sailor Moon, who was on a date in her civilian identity at the time. Since Sailor Moon's civilian identity shared the same name as the visitor from the future, the newcomer used the name Chibi-Usa or Small Rabbit (Usagi) to avoid confusion.

Usagi (Sailor Moon) was unimpressed with her date with her boyfriend Mamoru being interrupted, and even less happy when Chibi tried to take her crystal by threatening her with a toy gun. Luckily things were soon sorted out, and Chibi subsequently discovered Usagi and Mamoru were in fact her parents, much younger and not yet married. Chibi recruited the Sailor Scouts to return with her back to the future, where they helped save Crystal Tokyo from it's enemies.

Some time afterwards, Chibi was again sent into the past, this time able to become a senshi herself, so that she could train with the Sailor Scouts as Sailor Chibi-Moon (with the intention of eventually becoming a future Sailor Moon). She was temporarily used as a host by Pegasus as well.

Her best friends are Diana (a talking cat who is the daughter of Luna and Artemis), Hotaru (Sailor Saturn) and Sailor Pluto.

In the manga the Amazoness Quartet are actually the corrupted Sailor Asteroids who will serve as Chibi-Moon's Sailor Senshi in the future when she fully becomes Sailor Moon.

Lyandra Angel adds "In the manga, the Earth didn't get frozen, so Chibiusa is 900 years old in the R arc, even though she is still only physically 6 to 9. In the R series she becomes the friend of Momoko (she calls her Momo-chan), who returns for quite a few episodes of SuperS, and Pegasus (a.k.a. Helios) was not only hosted by Chibiusa, but befriended by her. Also, the Asteroid Senshi are Sailor Pallas (formerly Palla-Palla), Sailor Vesta (formerly Ves-Ves), Sailor Juno (formerly Jun-Jun), and Sailor Ceras (formerly Cere-Cere)."

Tara Carpenter notes "During the Dark Moon period of the show (when Sailor Moon and the scouts travel back to Crystal Tokyo) Chibi Moon, under the influence of the Wiseman, becomes Dark Lady (in the American version it is called Wicked Lady). She was transformed into an older girl, and while in this state was jealous of Darien loving Serena, and also she could not believe that Serena was her mother (because Serena is a klutz and not what she expected her to be like). She fights against Serena and the scouts and in the end Sailor Moon saves her and she returns to her normal age. This is also mentioned in the manga. During the anime Dark Lady would be seen with Prince Diamond and the Wiseman."
