History: Japan was Captain Canada's counterpart in his own country. He came to Montreal to warn the new hero of the impending fight with Sho-Gun, a giant robot employed by the Super-Mafia. Japan informed his new ally that he had been a hero for "hundreds of lifetimes", but he felt Captain Canada was still too weak to face the deadly robot, and counselled him to go to use the stone book Captain Newfoundland had provided Canada to enhance his powers, telling him to start with the most powerful chapter of all, "Love".
Comments: Created by Geoffrey Scott and Danny Bulanadi.
CLARIFICATIONS: Not to be confused with
Japanese Bat, a Filipino hero
