History: "There will always be a Hark to ensure that the sun comes up."
A descendant of the founder of the Night Forest School of Martial Arts, Anna Hark is the latest in a family that has battled to keep the world safe for countless centuries.
Unfortunately Anna inherited the world from her father during the Four's ascent to power, and it has been all she can do over the last 5 decades to deliver some of their hidden technologies to the world at large while keeping them sweet.
Anna has never been the type to step into the foreground like her father, and prefers to keep her dealings under the table. Dealings that include the transformation of her personal detective, John Wilder, into a superhuman of incredible power and dealings that have recently lead to a confrontation between her and Planetary's Elijah Snow. After a brief exchange the two have become allies in their fight against the Four, with Hark providing technology essential to disabling them.
Comments: Created by Warren Ellis.
There's some debate over whether or not Anna is a century baby, most of it stemming from reports that her father was active before the year 1900 (making him too old). This remains unconfirmed for the time being.
