Summary: Disliking criminals, Alan Black became an assassin so he could kill them while also making a living. Known as the Contractor, he garnered a reputation for being very selective about the jobs he took, and for never failing to eliminate his targets, though most would-be clients didn't realize he wouldn't accept missions to kill innocents, or that if the person who hired him was a crook he'd kill them too, even if he accepted the job.
History: Alan Black was an Esper and an assassin, and secretly a member of SEA, an Esper organization opposing two rival Esper groups that sought world domination, the Inner Circle and the Triad. Hired by the Inner Circle to eliminate Linda Williams' group of rogue espers, he instead warned them of the dangers they were facing.
