Summary: While researching a book crime writer Vince Harley fell foul of jewel robbers, who attempted to kill him by emptying a carton of yellowjackets on him. Instead he discovered that he was immune to bee stings, and somehow gained the power to control them. Designing a costume, he used this new found ability to get revenge on the robbers, and went on to fight other crimes as Yellowjacket.
