Powers/Abilities: Wombat is a skilled martial artist, master of eskrima (Philippines stick fighting) and katanas, and an expert in wilderness survival.

Height: Unrevealed - he's slightly taller than Badger, who is himself slightly above average in height, so perhaps around 6'
Weight: Unrevealed - when initially met he was extremely muscular, but by his later appearances he had slimmed down to become lean and wiry, while remaining very ripped.

Summary:The Wombat is an Australian costumed vigilante martial artist and friend of the Badger.

History: (Badger#15) - The Wombat was an Australian Vietnam veteran, formerly part of the Seato courtesy forces. When he returned to his native land, he adopted the costumed identity of the Wombat and became the self appointed protector of all animals, leading attacks on places where experiments were being carried out. He encountered the Badger in Tasmania, where the two thwarted attempts by IBOB members Jack Moran, Slim Kim and Lionel Brain to kill the last Thylacine.

(Hexbreaker) - Wombat took part in the 19th Centennial Grand Tournament of the Lotors, a once a century martial arts contest. At the opening ceremony he spotted his old friend, now fellow contestant, the Badger and they exchanged brief greetings before their initial bouts. Wombat defeated his first opponent, Pra Pran, in the opening unarmed combat round, and an unidentified foe wielding nunchuks in a subsequent round that permitted the use of weapons, but was ultimately defeated by Zwigoff.

(Badger#58) - Hearing that Badger had begun racing, riding his buffalo Lamont against all other steeds, Wombat phoned mad vigilante and challenged him to a race across the Outback against Wombat and his Emu steed, Hermione, starting at the remote town of Dugga Dugga, home of the Jackaroo. Their old foe Jack Moran, hired by rival racer Spud Grogan and also seeking revenge for their interfering with his Thylacine hunt, attempted to disrupt the race, but after capturing Badger the drongo was soundly beaten up by Wombat. Recommencing the contest, the pair raced the rest of the course neck and neck, but ultimately Wombat and Hermione won by a beak.
