History: Having themselves been devastated by war, an ancient civilisation, the Council of Utopia, created Manowar, a.k.a. the White Streak, programmed to mete out justice on those murderers who preyed on the weak, and left it entombed as their death warrant, to awaken when the world was again threatened with death by selfishness and try to prevent such destruction happening again. He was placed in a cave within an artificial hill, that was then hidden away inside an extinct South American volcano. Centuries, maybe millennia later, shortly after the outbreak of the Second World War, the hill rose from within the now extinct volcano. Investigating the phenomenon, American archaeologist Dr. Simms and his guide Ramon discovered Manowar, who swiftly put an end to local dictator of Bolita, Don Ruizen, and his U.S. oil company backer, who had instigated a war with neighbouring Puzen. Manowar then relocated to the U.S., disguised himself as a human, and adopted the cover identity of FBI Agent Dan Sanders and the costumed identity of the White Streak. He later teamed with the Red Seal for a number of adventures.
