First Appearance: Man Comics #26 (Atlas, August 1953)

History: (Man Comics #26-28, ga) Four teenage boys growing up in 1950s America, the Troubleshooters enjoyed a series of adventures, battling disguised counterfeiters, Commie agitators, and the super-intelligent, telepathic killer mutant teenager Roger Carstairs, who could kill by projecting terrifying images of swarming insects into his victims' minds. The Trouble Shooters were Bob Brant, the two-fisted and fearless leader; Duffy, the skinny second-in-command; "Feathers", the intellectual Native American with knowledge of the most esoteric subjects; and "Bomber", the scrappy youngster of the band.

They were often accompanied by Bob's girlfriend Carol, and Daffy's girl Bess, and sometimes aided by Bob's older brother Brant, a government agent whose job involved tackling enemy spies, and tracking down stolen laser guns.
