Comments: Too Much Coffee Man started in 1993 as a comic book written, drawn, inked, lettered, and published by Shannon Wheeler. The comic book was centered around a super-hero who spent more time fighting his dirty dishes and his own hyper-active sense of self-awareness than he did fighting conventional comic book evils.
Originally published by Adhesive Comics and Press, he has appeared in syndicated form in "alternative" newspapers, and some of the series has been collected by Dark Horse Comics. A few of the strips are available online, and he has an Official Website.
Thanks to Michael Burden for much of the above information, and to Gene Kogan for correcting me on his earlier appearances.
Too Much Coffee Man is one of the participants in War of the Independents.
