He is about 70 years old, and comes from the underground city of Aquatania, which belongs to a dimensional universe separate from our own. Thresher's mother still lives in Aquitania, however, her identity is unknown to him. Thresher's own home is a fortress hidden in the depths of the Atlantic Ocean [not bought as a base because it doesn't show up in the comic]." - Protectors Handbook
