The Thing (1979)
A Hanna Barbera adaption, run as part of the "Fred And Barney Meet The Thing" show, it's the least faithful adaption of any Marvel character ever. The Thing is a boy, Benjy Grimm, who transforms into the rocky superhero by touching magic rings together and reciting a dodgy incantation, "Thing ring, do your thing!." The rest of the Marvel Universe doesn't appear, and the character has a whole new origin, supporting cast, and enemies. Luckily, despite the title, the Thing only encounters Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble in the titles sequence. There were 26 eleven minute episodes made.
