Powers/Abilities: Flight,can become intangible, can create mental images and seems to be pretty strong

History: Roger Brant was a soldier in Vietnam. He was seriously injured, and his legs badly damaged in the war, and was rescued by a monk called Chen Lo who took him to a nearby temple. The temple had once been used by the "Nameless Ones " to perform human sacrifices. Brant was "possessed" by the spirits of all those killed, which saved his life, and while still unable to walk, he now had an "Astral Form", The Shade.
