Gwen Patton notes "In Dreadstar #12, in a side-story by Bernie Wrightson, creator of the Heavy Metal character Captain Lincoln Sternn, Tuetun makes a reference to his "Cousin Hanover". This is a reference to the character "Hanover Fiste" from Wrightson's Captain Sternn stories. Tuetun and Hanover have something in common -- being dropped from orbit. Tueton, however survives this, more than once."
