History: By 2300A.D. / 192 U.C. (United Century) mankind had returned to Earth, but explored deep into space from their base on the Orbital Ring System. The attack and capture of the ORS by the hostile Radamu extra-terrestrials once more heralded a threat to the survival of humanity. The Radamu seeded Earth with alien plants, then placed brainwashed humans transformed into Tekkaman to guard over these. Things looked hopeless until the discovery of an amnesiac man found by two members of the Outer Space Agency. Dubbed Dangerous Boy (D-Boy for short) by his rescuers, the mystery man proved to be able to use a Radamu crystal to transform himself into a Tekkaman, one who would fight for mankind.

Tekkaman Blade led the struggle to free Earth from Radamu domination, battling the enemy Tekkaman led by Tekkaman Omega. Gradually the withdrawn hero learned to trust his allies, and eventually he discovered his original identity, Aiba Takaya, and repelled the Radamu. Ten years later though, they returned. Takaya led a new band of Tekkaman against them, once more defending the human race.
