Comments: Space Ace was an ongoing series from Atlas Publishing which ran for 33 issues from 1960 until 1963. The title character was Space Ace, a character introduced in Atlas' Lone Star Magazine, but as of the fourteenth issue Atlas adapted Spanish creator Josep M. Beá's Johnny Galaxia's adventures to make them new adventures for Space Ace. The comic was an anthology, and in early issues the comic also regularly featured stories about Flash the Four-Footed Deputy (a western about a canine crimefighter), Rex the Robot (a humour strip featuring a robot character who had also appeared in the Book of Space Adventures) and Rex from Planet X (another humour strip about an alien visiting Earth), while in later issues back-up stories included Terry Trent, Private Eye; Mike Morgan, Space Traveller, and Sinbad the Sailor.
