History: "Standing in a secret underground crypt beside his father's grave, a young man swore to fight crime and wickedness forever! Returning from the wars, he had found his family's castle burned to the ground, and learned the story of the massacre from the only survivor, an old family servant. This was six hundred years ago, and this man became the first Sir Falcon. This vow was passed on down the years, from father to eldest son. Some men believed it to be the same man, and so the legend of immortality grew. Today criminals everywhere have learned to fear the swift punishment of Sir Falcon".

Thanks to Steve Montgomery for providing background and images of this character. Thanks to Copper for additional info.
A similar concept to the Phantom, with an inherited costumed identity giving rise to the public belief that the character is immortal. I'm not sure if it his real identity or an alias, but in the sample of the strip kindly provided to me by Steve Montgomery, Sir Falcon's civilian identity is called "Mr. Knight".
Sir Falcon was recoloured and renamed for release in Brazil, becoming Águia Negra. In as far as I know, this was simply a reprint of the character, with no new adventures.
CLARIFICATIONS: Not to be confused with
any other Sirs or Falcons
