Powers/Abilities: Agile, excellent martial artist, skilled swordswoman. She is fast enough to deflect bullets from the air with her sword.

History: Shikata was a mercenary martial artist who was hired by businessman Richad Damien to capture Spider-Man for his collection of rare animals. Her first battle with the wall-crawler was interupted by the arrival of the police, but not before Shikata decided her noble foe deserved better than captivity - he deserved a duel to the death! Damien, informed of her desire to negate their contract, sent men after her, but they swiftly died at her hands - then she returned to her former employer and decapitated him to prevent him interfering again. Catching up with Spider-Man once more, she engaged him in battle. However when Spider-Man's ally, Mary Jane Watson, realised that Shakita's power was derived from her weapon. Spidey shattered it, and Shakita immediately aged to a wizened crone and died.
