Powers/Abilities: Able to fly and fire vibration beams. He's also close to invulnerable and heals rapidly.
History: After several years of aimlessly trying out different careers, Dennis Machek was working for Status Communications in Michigan alongside an old high school friend, Brian Rapp, when the pair chanced to witness the assassination of Freedom Eagle, America's first and greatest superhero. Dying, the hero transferred the energies from his alien aura to Dennis, granting him superhuman powers, so Dennis decided to carry on Freedom Eagle's legacy as Shatterman.

In the advert that Shatterman originally appeared in his real name was Jack Dunn, but it was changed to Dennis Machek for his comic debut.
