Powers/Abilities: Superstrong, superfast. Her favourite transport is a magic bicycle.

History: Supergran was a normal, somewhat elderly woman, until one day she was struck by a magical ray of energy which gave her incredible powers. She gained superhuman strength and endurance, which she decided to use to fight crime in her home town of Chisleton. Her task is made easier by the intense stupidity and ineptitude of her main opponents, Scunner Campbell and his gang.

Comments: Adapted from books by Forrest Wilson. Played by Gudrun Ure, and created by Jenny McDade. The theme music was by Phil Gutter with vocals by Billy Connolly. The series was produced by Keith Richardson and Graham C. Williams. It was shot mainly in Tynemouth.
