Powers/Abilities: Every month, on the nights of the full moon, Randi transforms into a werewolf. In this form she is an animal, and has no control over her actions.
History: Randi Wallace was an American post-graduate student who moved to London to study myths and folk legends under Professor Ian Matheson. She took up lodgings with his family, and from the moment they met, there was an unrequited spark of romance between them. Things rapidly got very complicated when Randi went camping out on the moors on the night of a full moon. Attacked by a werewolf, Randi was lucky to survive...but she was infected with lycanthropy herself. Seeking to find a cure, Randi and Ian began to investigate any stories of the supernatural they came across.
Comments: Randi was played by Kate Hodge, while her lupine form was played by Diane Youdale. The show was a U.S./U.K. co-production, which only lasted one season - from episode 15 on, the action was moved to the U.S and the show was re-titled "Love and Curses". That was also the point where the quality of the scripts marked a massive drop in quality:
