Setting: El Drago, a small U.S. town near the border with Mexico, and the surrounding towns and countryside, circa the 1880s
Plot Summary: After the Morton Gang murdered his family young Johnny Storm began a hunt for vengeance. Aware he lacked the requisite fighting skills to take down the gang, Storm enlisted the reluctant help of aging gunfighter Luke Cassidy to train him.

As well as the 21 episode comic story there was a story in Speed Annual 1981.
I'm unsure of Storm's ethnicity. With his long hair and surname, I'd long assumed he was Native American, but when he and Luke are hiding from hostile Natives in episode 17 of the story they refer to the pair as "white eyes" and he thinks of them as "redskins."
Morton's gang consisted of seven men in total, but two of them, though depicted, were never named.
After taking multiple issues per gang member as Johnny worked his way through his revenge list the final installment saw two of the gang, including Morton himself, in a single episode, suggesting that the story was intended to continue for longer but that the writer was abruptly told to end it.
