History: Jeff Carey was the gifted with superhuman powers, and became the first superhero, Paragon. But then tragedy struck: Jeff's family were murdered by his enemies, and Jeff himself was left terribly disfigured. Driven by vengeance, he donned a new, masked costume, and began a deadly vendetta against those who had cost him his life.
