History: The Night Comer is a horror host, a ghoulish individual who likes to tell others stories with horrific twist endings.

Comments: I'm not absolutely sure what this character's name is, but since he presented two strips that I know of called the Night Comer in the Scream 1986 Holiday Special, that seems as good a moniker as any. Unlike most horror hosts, he liked to appear through the story, interjecting additional comments and information. The two stories he hosted were Feast of Fear! and Mother Haggard's Helpers.
