Powers/Abilities: The Merk is a powerful telepath, using this ability to locate mass murderers across the universe, then direct his chosen agents (the various people dubbed Nexus) through powerful dreams to hunt down and kill those individuals. He can bestow fusion powers (see Nexus for a list of said abilities) to humans by allowing them to bathe in his blood.

History: The last of his race, the Merk stayed behind in our reality when the rest of his species moved on beyond corporeal form. He has chosen to sit in judgement on mankind, empowering executioners to kill the worst representatives of the human race.
